Emma (Unit 30) - Task Four

Synopsis:
When looking at the feedback that I received from my survey I realised that the majority of the target audience that I surveyed respond better to humorous adverts than serious ones. They also said that they wanted to learn more about cheap, but preferably free, things to do in London and places to get food. In order to give the audience what they are asking for, and stick to the brief at the same time, I came up with the idea of filming the advert in the style of a light-hearted and funny documentary. I think this would be a great way to get a lot of information into the advert while still ensuring that it’s not overcrowded or boring. In line with the brief, the video will be around 2-3 minutes long. The documentary will follow someone around as they go about their business in London, showing transport links, popular places to go that are cheap, and where to eat while still focusing on properties.Untitled2.png

Script:

  1. “So, what is the plan for today?”
  2. “How long does it usually take for you to get from your house to you local transport links? And how long then does it take you to get into central London?”
  3. “If you’re looking for a cheap day out, like today, what would you usually like to do?”
  4. “If you could eat anywhere in London, where would it be?”
  5. “Last question, what is your favourite thing about London?”
  6. “Thank you for showing me around London for the day!”
